Modern School Portraits FAQ

My school portraits are simple and authentic. I use a black, beige or grey backdrop to focus entirely on the child's personality without any distractions of a noisy background or bold colours. There’s no pressure for kids to act a certain way or meet expectations. I encourage them to relax and express their feelings, the results range from broad smiles, to silly faces, to bashful grins! But sometimes serious expressions are just as beautiful. Making every portrait not just special but also meaningful. 

My services are similar to the bigger companies who photograph schools, yet I bring a more personal touch to my sessions. 

Each child will be provided with 2-5 images, presented in both colour and black & white. Parents can choose to print or download any or all of the images,

Private online gallery for viewing images. Sorted by grade and classroom.

Prints are ordered online and will be delivered within four weeks of picture day.

Detailed communication instructions for schools are sent out to families ahead of photo day.

I supply all the necessary equipment to ensure a seamless photo day experience.

I take care of all inquiries from parents and families regarding ordering and products.

We provide the school with all high resolution digital files to use for yearbooks, website and school advertising.

Additionally, I take staff and class photos depending on the school’s needs.

No! Several options are available from digital downloads to a variety of print packages that fit everyone's needs. There is no minimum to buy and purchasing is not required! Families can view their children’s pictures before making any purchase. All profit is made from ordering and there are no upfront costs.

Online galleries are ready within 2 weeks. Digital images are delivered within 24 hours following ordering and prints will be delivered to the school within four weeks of picture day. 

Yes! Every teacher can have their picture taken and I offer a complimentary digital download for them!
